We offer rights managed and royalty free stock photography licenses for almost every stock photo, as well as quality prints.
Our collection of images is available as high quality digital files in various digital formats (standard base media is 55MB first generation TIFF). Copyright for these images always remains with Whitehead Images. If you wish to use any of our images for any purpose whatsoever you must receive our permission first.
We do not sell our images outright but rather charge a fee for the right to use them for specific purposes. Below are details of how we calculate those rates for the use of our images. The final price will take into account the type of use, the size the image will be used, the position of use, print runs, length of time etc.

1. Send an email to us stating your request. 2. We will return a confirmation email to ensure we understand your order, provide any additional ordering information, confirm the total order cost, and request that you confirm your order. 3. You confirm your order, accept the total order price, and make the payment by the agreed terms and conditions. 4. We prepare your order and inform you by email on the day your order is shipped. Credit terms are available for established media companies.
Commercial rates:
For any commercial use by a non-profit, educational, or for-profit endeavor, we issue a one-time, non-exclusive license, but retain the copyright for the image. The license terms are determined following consideration of;
the type of use, such as technical, educational, editorial, marketing; publication type, such as magazine, book, poster, newsletter, newspaper; press run or distribution number; publication language; image size in the publication, such as single spot use or 1/4 page, 1/2 page, full page or major illustration, front cover, or back cover; publication form, such as hardcopy or electronic; other considerations.
Upon receipt and consideration of the information above concerning commercial use requirements, we will issue a formal quotation or acceptance of your standard rates. If we agree on terms and license fee, we shall forward a full size watermarked image for your inspection. The license and clean image is issued upon receipt of the license payment.

Please read this agreement with respect to each image you select:
1.In order to avoid possible violation of copyright laws written permission from the copyright owner must be obtained before an image may be used for any purpose whatsoever. 2.The photographer or an agent acting on behalf of the photographer has the exclusive right to exploit the copyright of each image. 3.Any unauthorized use constitutes an infringement of copyright law. Penalties can be severe. 4.The photographer owns the exclusive right to the image and combining, altering, or scanning of the photograph may only be done after obtaining permission in writing from the photographer. 5.It has been held that exceeding the terms of a license is an infringement. A new license is required prior to additional use. 6.Written permission from the copyright owner (Whitehead Images) must be obtained before using the image for any derivative uses such as, but not limited to, an artist's rendering in another medium or re-creating the photograph in any way. You may not make copies, either digital or printed, of the image for the purpose of re-licensing or reselling the image (whether separately or in combination with other images) or for any other purpose except those expressly set forth in the use you select for the image at the time of ordering. Also, you may not copy the file for the purpose of transferring it, whether by gift or sale, to anyone else unless such use of the image is expressly included within the use you state upon ordering for that image. 7.Purchase of a photograph under specific conditions transfers rights to the purchaser for those terms, conditions and rights only. 8.The use of a photograph or any part thereof for any purpose requires the permission of the copyright holder (Whitehead Images). 9.If you order more than one image, each image may be used only for the use, which you indicate when you order the image. You are not permitted to use the image, or any portions of the image, in any other way. Furthermore, you may not use the image in any manner, which is defamatory, pornographic or otherwise violates any applicable laws. 10.All rights are reserved except those specifically granted in this agreement. 11.This agreement is effective as of the date you accept this agreement. You agree to pay the photographer the fees for each image use within the length of time agreed upon between you and the copyright holder. The license granted to you becomes effective only upon receipt by the photographer of payment in full. 12.The photographer warrants to you that he has the right to grant this license to you. Any necessary model and other releases are the responsibility of the photographer and if you require them it is your responsibility to confirm that the photographer can supply them. Your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of these warranties is a refund of the price you pay to the photographer to license the image. Express or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall the photographer or any of their affiliates be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages or loss of profits, business interruption, loss of information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use any image licensed hereunder. 13.You may not transfer or assign this license to a third party without written permission from the copyright holder and payment of any additional fees required by the copyright holder. 14.You must ensure that the copyright notice of each image is prominently displayed to viewers of the image-? WhiteheadImages.com This license constitutes the entire agreement between you and the photographer/copyright holder concerning the license of the image or images you select. All rights to the images displayed by Whitehead Images are owned by the individual photographers and their licensors and are protected by all applicable copyright laws, international treaty provisions and other applicable laws. The individual photographers retain all rights not expressly granted by this agreement. This license shall terminate immediately and automatically without notice from the photographer if you fail to comply with any of the terms or conditions of this license agreement.
